US alt-rock/post-grunge band formed in California in 1985. After breaking up in 1991, Jane's Addiction briefly reunited in 1997 and again in 2001. In 2008, the band reunited once more, embarking on a world tour and other tours since.
The band includes Perry Farrell - vocals, Dave Navarro - guitars and piano, Stephen Perkins - drums, and Eric Avery - bass/ guitar.
They released their debut album, "Nothing's Shocking" in 1988, followed by: "Ritual de lo Habitual" (1990), "Strays" (2003), plus 2011's: "The Great Escape Artist".
