British world-beat and fusion band formed in 1991 by front-man Propa-Gandhi.
They have courted controversy by mixing hardcore hip-hop beats and Islamism, earning them the tag 'the Asian Public Enemy'.
Their early material was released on Nation records (home of Transglobal Underground, Asian Dub Foundation and run by Propa-ghandi) and included the club-hit 'Wrath Of The Blackman' in 1993.
