[1974 - 2006] J-Dilla was an American rapper and producer and founder member of the underground Hip Hop group, Slum Village.
He released his debut solo album, "Welcome 2 Detroit" in 2001, followed by "Champion Sound" (2003 with Madlib) and the album, "Donuts" - released just days before he died in 2006.
The following albums were released posthumously: "The Shining" (2006), "Jay Love Japan" (2007), "Jay Stay Paid" (2009) and "The Diary" (2016).
