Billy Cobham

Billy Cobham is a renowned Panamanian-American jazz drummer who rose to fame playing alongside Miles Davis and then the Mahavishnu Orchestra. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1987 and also the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame in 2013.

He released his debut solo album, the acclaimed "Spectrum" in 1973, followed by "Crosswinds" (1974), "Total Eclipse" (1974), "A Funky Thide of Sings" (1975), "Life & Times" (1976), with more recent releases including

"Fruit from the Loom" (2007), "De Cuba y de Panama with Asere" (2008), "Palindrome" (2010), "Drum 'n' Voice 3" (Spring 2010) and 2014's: "Tales From The Skeleton Coast".

Billy has also collaborated on numerous albums, including James Brown, Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway, Stanley Clarke, Ron Carter, Larry Coryell, Gil Evans, Grover Washington, Jr. and many more.
