Skipinnish

Skipinnish

Scottish Celtic music ensemble founded in 1999 by Angus MacPhail and Andrew Stevenson.

"Skipinnish encompasses the very best of contemporary Celtic music with a unique and sublime mix of chart-topping, self-penned songs and powerful bagpipe, fiddle and accordion-led tune sets. As a result, the band has built a loyal and strong fan base since its formation in Tiree in 1999. The last few years have seen their support rocket to bring them to the very top of the thriving Celtic Music scene - selling out the Usher Hall, Barrowland and venues across Scotland - and thisfollowing continues to grow as Skipinnish excite audiences in the rest of the UK and Europe..."

They released their debut eponymous album in 2001, followed by: "Sgurr Mor to Skerryvore" (2003), "Deoch 'N' Dorus" (2005), "The Sound of the Summer" (2007), "Live From The Ceilidh House" (2009), "The Wedding Dance" (2010), "Atlantic Roar" (2013), "Western Ocean" (2014), "The Seventh Wave" (2017), plus 2019's: "Steer by the Stars".
