Lemn Sissay is a BAFTA-nominated, poet, playwright, artist performer and broadcaster, awarded an MBE for services to literature

His 2017 radio two-parter "Lemn Sissay's Homecoming" was nominated for a Palm D'Or.

Books include: "Tender Fingers in a Clenched Fist", "Rebel Without Applause", "Morning Breaks in the Elevator", "The Emperor's Watchmaker", "Listener", "My Name Is Why" (autobiography), and "Let the Light Pour In".
