Uniquely-voiced Jamaican reggae-singer, active since the late 60's.

His key solo songs are many, but include "Skylarking", "Problems", "Ain't No Sunshine" (cover), "Girl I Love You", "Every Tongue Shall Tell", "Do You Love My Music" and "Natty Dread A Weh She Want" (with Tapper Zukie).

He acheived mainstream success throughout Europe when chosen by Massive Attack for vocal duties on new tracks and revamped and adapted versions of some of his older titles and numbers including "Angel", "Girl I Love You", "One Love", "Five Man Army", "Hymn Of The Big Wheel", "Spying Glass", "Exchange", "Man Next Door", "Everywhen", "Name Taken" and "Splitting The Atom".
