Bootsy Collins

Bootsy Collins is a flamboyant American bass player and singer who came to prominence as a member of James Brown's J.B's in the '60s, then George Clinton's Parliament-Funkadelic.

Known for his funky slap technique and unique laid-back vocals, Bootsy has released numerous albums, as part of his "Rubber Band", as a solo artist and as a session player.
