N'famady Kouyaté is a Cardiff-based musician, originally from Guinea who plays the "balafon", which is similar to a xylophone.

His music "is a blend of his West African heritage with Western indie, pop, and jazz. His performances create vibrant atmospheres, fuelled by his charisma and charm onstage and backed by an excellent band. N'famady won the 2023 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, further signalling the bright future of this rising star."
