Kane Gang
North East AOR-pop outfit formed in the '80s and initially signed to Kitchenware Records.
Releases include The Closest Thing To Heaven, Motortown, Don't Look Any Further and Smalltown Creed (which itself was adapted for a radio 1 jingle and the theme to popular 80s soap Byker Grove.
Founder Martin Brammer went on to write songs for John Newman, Ella Eyre and more and also formed the project Autoleisureland with another Kane Gang member, Paul Woods in 2022.
In 2024 they have planned to hook up with Field Music for a comeback show in Sunderland
