Seth Lakeman is an award-winning Devon-based folk and roots singer, songwriter and musician who was nominated for a Mercury Prize for the album 'Kitty Jay' in 2004, two years after his debut in 2002, 'The Punch Bowl'. Other albums include: "Freedom Fields" (2006), "Poor Man's Heaven" (2008), "Hearts & Minds" (2010), "Tales from the Barrel House" (2011), "Word of Mouth" (2014), "Ballads of the Broken Few" (2016), "Ballads of the Broken Few with bonus tracks" (2017), "The Well Worn Path" (2018) and 2020's: "'A Pilgrim's Tale".
Seth began his solo career after a spell in The Lakeman Brothers with siblings Sean and Sam. He continues to collaborate with a wide range of artists.
In 2007 Lakeman won Singer of the Year and Best Album (for 'Freedom Fields') at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
