Deacon Blue

Scottish pop band formed in 1985 whose hits include 'Real Gone Kid', 'Fergus Sings the Blues', 'Twist and Shout' and 'Your Town' amongst others.

Led by lead vocalist and songwriter Ricky Ross, Deacon Blue registered five Top 5 singles, including two No 1 hits, before splitting in 1995.

The band reunited in 1999, releasing a new album, 'Homesick', in 2001 and have continued to tour. 2012 saw the band embark on a 25th anniversary tour.

They released their debut album, "Raintown" in 1987, followed by: "When the World Knows Your Name" (1989), "Fellow Hoodlums" (1991), "Whatever You Say, Say Nothing" (1993), "Walking Back Home" (1999), "Homesick" (2001), "The Hipsters" (2012), "A New House" (2014), "Believers" (2016), "City of Love" (2020), plus 2021's: "Riding on the Tide of Love".
